Old Westbury Lacrosse Camp

Future Stars is ecstatic to offer Lacrosse as one of our sports-specific summer camp programs.

Summer 2010 at SUNY College at Old Westbury will feature and offer six weekly session's for Boys Lacrosse and two weekly session's for Girls Lacrosse.

The program is designed to give players aged 7-16 the opportunity to acquire the skills to develop and reach their full potential in the game.

Transportation, Lunch & Daily Recreational Swim Included.

At the start of each week campers will be evaluated individually and placed in the appropriate age and skill level groups. On and off the field campers share their passion for this dynamic game with others. Every facet of the game will be covered. Overall performance, self-confidence, and fundamental skills will improve dramatically. At Future Stars Lacrosse Camp this season we will be offering campers an intensive week-long opportunity to become better lacrosse players under the direction of some of the areas finest coaches. We are certain that you will enjoy an unforgettable growth experience regardless of age or skill level.

LacrosseSUNY College at Old Westbury is a wooded 604 acre campus centrally located on Long Island's picturesque North Shore.

Clark Athletic Center outdoor facilities include FULL ACCESS to Jackie Robinson Baseball & Softball complex, 8 all weather Tennis courts, 6 hitting walls, 4 full-sized training fields, 4 Basketball courts, outdoor Volleyball courts, mini-tennis grass courts, and more!

 

Clark Athletic Center indoor facilities include FULL ACCESS to Olympic sized heated pool, 3 full gymnasiums, 4 racquetball courts, Panther Pride video and recreation area, weight room, cardio gym, games room, newly renovated locker rooms, athletic training room, and more!

Campus Center facilities include air conditioned cafeteria, Maguire Theater, Recital Hall, classrooms, and more!

Additional Future Stars camp specials include The Big Kahuna Inflatable Waterslide & The Quad Soccer Inflatable Sports Arena!!!

Door to door transportation is available throughout Nassau County and beyond by arrangement.

Lacrosse

Brady Miller returns to once again direct and oversee Future Stars Boy's Lacrosse program. Brady hails from Manhasset NY, one of the preeminent lacrosse communities on Long Island and possibly the country. He is one of ten brothers all of whom played lacrosse at the highest level, including professionally. Brady played Division 1 Lacrosse at Towson University (2003) and played one year with the Philadelphia Barrage (2004). Following a short career in the financial markets, Brady decided to follow his passion for lacrosse and his started his own lacrosse company, Miller Lacrosse, which would focus on helping boys and girls advance their games in preparation for High School and College participation.

CW Post Pioneers Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach Lauren Cohen will direct and oversee the Future Stars Girls Lacrosse program. Cohen helped lead her Maryland team to the NCAA Division I Tournament all four years of her career, playing in a combined 74 games, making 60 appearances on the starting line-up.  She finished her senior year ranking second on her team with 49 goals, and third on the team with a total of 59 points. Cohen was also honored as an IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-American her senior year.
