Lacrosse Camp at Old Westbury

Future Stars is ecstatic to offer Lacrosse as one of our sports-specific summer camp programs. Summer 2012 at SUNY College at Old Westbury will offer three weekly sessions for Boys Lacrosse and two weekly sessions for Girls Lacrosse.

Lacrosse camps are designed for players of all abilities to improve their skills in an instructional and positive atmosphere. Our highly qualified staff of professional coaches will focus on improving the fundamental skills for each camper covering individual and team skills and concepts. Each day will include game-like situations to develop a great understanding of team-play and tactics, with campers grouped by age and skill level.


LacrosseBOYS Lacrosse camp is for players ages
7-16 and practices will cover Technical Demonstrations, Catching & Throwing Techniques, Scooping & Cradling, Ground Balls & Face Offs, Shooting, Attacking Concepts, Defensive Positioning, 1v1 through 3v3 drills, Movement off the Ball, Positional Play, Goalkeeper Training, Plyometrics & Agility Work, Skills Challenges, Daily Scrimmages, and more!

LacrosseGIRLS Lacrosse camp is for players ages

Clark Athletic Center outdoor facilities include FULL ACCESS to Jackie Robinson Baseball & Softball complex, 8 all weather Tennis courts, 6 hitting walls, 4 full-sized training fields,
4 Basketball courts, outdoor Volleyball courts, mini-tennis grass courts, and more!

Clark Athletic Center indoor facilities include FULL ACCESS to Olympic sized heated pool, 3 full gymnasiums, 4 racquetball courts, Panther Pride video and recreation area, weight room, cardio gym, games room, newly renovated locker rooms, athletic training room, and more!

Campus Center facilities include air conditioned cafeteria, Maguire Theater, Recital Hall, classrooms, and more!

Additional Future Stars camp specials include The Big Kahuna Inflatable Waterslide, The Future Stars Soccer Golf Course, GaGa Ball Pit and The Quad Soccer Inflatable Sports Arena!!!

Door to door transportation is available throughout Nassau County and beyond by arrangement.

Lacrosse Camp Director, Brady Miller

Brady Miller returns once again to direct and oversee Future Stars Boy’s Lacrosse program. Brady hails from Manhasset, NY and played D1 Lacrosse at Towson before playing professionally with the Philadelphia Barrage. Now the owner and head coach for Miller Lacrosse, Brady coaches youth Lacrosse year-round working with hundreds of players and is excited to return to Future Stars Lacrosse program.



Lacrosse Camp Director, Chris GriffinChris Griffin
returns once again to Future Stars Boy’s Lacrosse program. Chris played D1 Lacrosse at Quinnipiac University who play in the tough Northeast Conference. Now a full-time Future Stars employee, Chris is also the director of the New York Laxfest, a premier summer youth tournament for boys and girls grades 4-9.





GIRLS LACROSSE DIRECTOR:

LacrosseLauren Schneider
returns once again to lend her expertise and talents to Future Stars Girls Lacrosse program. Lauren hails from Farmingdale, NY and was a standout student athlete at D1 Maryland making 4 appearances in the NCAA tournament as well as representing the Ireland National Team until 2009. Now a well respected coach, Lauren is the Head Coach for the College at Old Westbury Women’s Lacrosse program as well as coaching the Ireland National Team, and brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Future Stars Lacrosse program.
