Future Stars is pleased to offer Golf as one of our specialty sports-specific summer camp programs. Summer 2013 at Farmingdale State College will feature and offer eight weekly sessions.

The program is designed to teach boys and girls grades 3-12 how to maximize performance and increase their enjoyment in the game of Golf.
The golf program is tailored to the individual abilities and needs of each camper, with an emphasis on developing a solid fundamental swing. Proper practice habits will be reinforced to enhance performance. Lectures, demonstrations, and drill sessions in all aspects of the game will be incorporated daily. Driving, long and short iron range sessions, chipping, pitching, and putting will be practiced regularly. Rules and regulations will also be reviewed through the week.
Farmingdale State College is located on 380 lush acres in the
heart of Long Island. It is easily accessible from the Northern State, Southern State and LIE as well as most North and South shore locations along the Nassau Suffolk border.

The outdoor facilities at the college include 6 NEW all-weather Tennis courts, a 20 station Golf driving range, as many as 8 Lacrosse/Soccer fields, Softball field, state of the art Baseball complex, NEW turf field, 1/4 mile track, hitting wall and numerous shaded recreation areas.
The indoor physical education and athletic facility named George E. Nold Hall encompasses 94,000 square ft. The main gymnasium consists of 3 regulation Basketball courts, 5 Volleyball courts, 4 Tennis courts, indoor track and seating capacity of 4,000. The facility also includes 4 Racquetball and 4 Squash courts, large weight training complex, modern state of the art training room, men’s and women’s locker rooms, showers and lavatories.

Farmingdale State Rams Men's Golf Assistant Coach Patric Santiago will Co-Direct and oversee all aspects of Future Stars Golf program. A 2006 Farmingdale State graduate, Patric is the only student-athlete to ever compete in four sports in school history and was Captain of all four sports during his career, including Soccer, Golf, indoor and outdoor Track. In Golf, he was the #1 player of the Golf team for four years, carrying a 1.5 handicap, while registering nine career rounds under 75. Academically, Patric graduated with a GPA of 3.96 and was named an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American in 2006. He was the first student-athlete at Farmingdale to receive the Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence in 2005, was a two-time recipient of the Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete Award (2005 and 2006) and a two-time Farmingdale State Male Athlete of the Year (2004 and 2006).
