CAMP MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of our camp is to provide an atmosphere for young track and field athletes to learn a skill set to take them to a higher level. We hope to empower high school athletes with the necessary skills to take back to their team and be an asset to their coach. It is our hope that young athletes will gain practical knowledge from our staff of college clinicians that will prepare them for collegiate running. As well respected professionals in the T&F community , Coach Martin and coach St. Aude understand the value of advice from athletes only a few years removed.
Young athletes who attend this camp are guaranteed to improve their skills if they follow our prescription for success. In addition to the work on the track, athletes will also improve their skill set by participating in the training sessions in the following areas:
Attending the only overnight camp within three hours of Long Island will allow these athletes to build camaraderie and create special relationships that will continue in the future. These special relationships will build bonds that will be evident when they see each other at future meets and make them more than just “Face Book Friends.” In short, they will gain valuable experiences by being on a safe secure college campus which will also include a campus tour of Farmingdale State College.
