Future Stars is pleased to offer the Dribbl Basketball program as one of our summer camp offerings. Summer 2013 at Future Stars Southampton will offer three weekly sessions.

The program is designed to teach boys and girls aged 6-14 how to be well rounded and team oriented Basketball players.
Campers will benefit from our philosophy of small group instruction, close supervision, emphasis on skills, quality game play and focus on sportsmanship and teamwork. The sessions offer specialized basketball instruction with an emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball including dribbling, ball handling, passing, shooting, and rebounding. Campers are grouped according to age and ability. Boys and girls programs will merge and separate as appropriate. Curriculum will vary for recreation, AAU, junior varsity and varsity players. Our staff features experienced high school and college coaches.
SYS opened up its doors to the 55,000 square foot facility in June 2003 with the name Southampton Town Recreation Center. The facility is a world-class athletic facility featuring world-class equipment and world-class services and the facility is one of the top sports and recreation facility in the United States.
During the year a broad array of activities has flourished within the Center and since the Summer of 2004, Future Stars has been providing the Summer Camp programs.
SYS outdoor facilities include several playing fields, Baseball diamonds and swimming pool.
SYS indoor facilities include Center Rink (90 x 135 sq. ft.) Basketball (lined for college play 94x50 ) , Soccer , Lacrosse, Roller Hockey, Tennis etc. The center rink has batter boards and netting for safe uninterrupted play. Elmaleh Stanton Squash Center -4 Singles Courts and 1 Doubles Courts. Blue Court & Red Court (84x 50 sq. ft.) -Basketball (lined for high school play) Volleyball and Recreational games. Cages Room - 2 batting cages: baseball/softball Elevated Track - 1/7 of a mile. "A" Green Room (1,600 sq ft.) - multi purpose room. "B" Red Room (600 Sq ft.) - multi purpose room. Aerobics Room (800 sq. ft.) Men's and Women's Locker Rooms - showers, bathrooms and lockers.
Dribbl was founded by Teddy Frischling, Athletic Director of the Dalton School in Manhattan. Teddy coaches the boys' varsity basketball team at Dalton and has also been the Director of the Dalton Summer Camp for the past 12 years. Prior to running the Athletic Department and summer camp at Dalton, Teddy spent many years as a head counselor at Brant Lake Camp; he was also an assistant coach at Cornell University.
