Future Stars is ecstatic to offer Squash as one of our 'NEW' core sports-specific summer camp programs.
Campers have the option to attend a half-day program from either 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm, focusing on all aspects of Squash Fundamental and match play. Campers attending the full day program from 9:00am-4:00pm will follow the 'typical day' schedule outlined below.
The program is designed to teach and inspire campers aged 6-16 to become better players and to expand their knowledge of the game of Squash and how to train both on and off the court.

Emphasis will be focused towards match play, condition games, pressure drills, and Squash specific off-court training and sport psychology.
SYS opened up its doors to the 55,000 square foot facility in June 2003 with the name Southampton Town Recreation Center. The facility is a world-class athletic facility featuring world-class equipment and world-class services and the facility is one of the top sports and recreation facility in the United States.
During the year a broad array of activities has flourished within the Center and since the Summer of 2004, Future Stars has been providing the Summer Camp programs.
SYS outdoor facilities include several playing fields, Baseball diamonds and swimming pool.
SYS indoor facilities include Center Rink (90 x 135 sq. ft.) Basketball (lined for college play 94x50 ) , Soccer , Lacrosse, Roller Hockey, Tennis etc. The center rink has batter boards and netting for safe uninterrupted play. Elmaleh Stanton Squash Center -4 Singles Courts and 1 Doubles Courts. Blue Court & Red Court (84x 50 sq. ft.) -Basketball (lined for high school play) Volleyball and Recreational games. Cages Room - 2 batting cages: baseball/softball Elevated Track - 1/7 of a mile. "A" Green Room (1,600 sq ft.) - multi purpose room. "B" Red Room (600 Sq ft.) - multi purpose room. Aerobics Room (800 sq. ft.) Men's and Women's Locker Rooms - showers, bathrooms and lockers.
SYS Director of Squash Sayed Selim, is a world- class squash coach and will be directing all aspects of Future Stars Squash program. As a young player in his native Egypt, Sayed compiled a record as one of the top 10 in the Junior National Team, winning numerous titles including the Heliopolis Open in 1985, the Gezira Open in 1987, and the Al Ahly Open in 1987.
In 1985, Mr. Selim began to transition his career from successful player to a world caliber squash coach. He distinguished himself as Squash Coach for the Egyptian National Team from 1985 to 1990. He was later Squash Coach for the Egyptian National Women’s Team who won the World Championship in 1999. Sayed has also served as personal Elite Squash Coach for many of the world’s top ranked professional players.
Kevin Klipstein, CEO of US Squash, the governing body of the sport in our country, writes: “Mr. Selim is an individual of extraordinary ability in the field of squash. He has reached the highest level of achievement and recognition, and his prominence in the field is recognized internationally and he is unquestionably one of the small percentage of individuals who have risen to the very top in the field of squash.”
