Meet veteran Future Stars Multi-sports camper, Max.

Farah:  When did you start at Future Stars camps and what camps have you joined?

Max I started 6 years ago.  I've been at Multi-sports, Tennis, and Circus Arts camps.

Farah: What camp are you in this week?

Max:  Multi-sports.

Farah:  What have you been working on this week?

Max:  We have been doing color wars, so it's four teams with a bunch of kids and you have to get the most points to win. We’ve been playing capture the flag, gaga ball and world cup. My favorite was capture the flag.

Farah:  What is your favorite part of this week?

Max: Probably dodgeball.

Farah:  What are you most looking forward to this week?

Max:   I enjoy the relay race which has different stations and the first team to complete all stations wins.

Farah:  Do you have a favorite counselor?

Max:  I don’t have a favorite, I like them all.

Farah: Is there someone that you look up to or admire? In sports or entertainment? Why?

Max:   David Wright, he played on the Mets. He played 3rd base just like I do in baseball. I saw him in the first game I ever watched and he hit a crazy grand slam!

Farah: What are your hobbies?

Max:  I like to play with figures, like gaming figures and pokemon figures. I usually pull them out and play with them.

Farah:  What grade are you in? What do you most enjoy about school?

Max:  I'm going into 6th grade. I really love field time during recess.

Farah:  What do you want to be when you grow up?

Max:   Either a chef or an engineer. I'm being taught to cook by my mom. My favorite thing to make is either pizza or muffins.

Farah:  What is your favorite memory from camp?

Max:  It was maybe 2 years ago and it was at Multi-sports camp. We were playing color wars and you had to lip sync a song for points and I did “Believer” by Imagine Dragons. It was so fun! My favorite song has changed but it was my favorite at the time.

Farah:  Nice meeting you Max, and I hope that I catch you lip syncing at some point this summer!
