Future Stars Swim Camp from Filmcrush on Vimeo.

The Future Stars Swim Camp is designed for boys and girls grades 3-9, and aims to foster and develop campers confidence and techniques in the water. Swim Camp will follow a progressive curriculum, with campers grouped by ability level in accordance with Red Cross standards. Campers will be given the tools to systematically progress during a day balanced with technical work, training sessions, and dry land training. Our goal is to foster and pattern solid stroke fundamentals so that each camper may develop their individual potential. Certified coaches oversee a comprehensive program designed to build confidence, competence and performance in the water.

The Swim Camp is NOT for campers who cannot Swim…the program is designed for campers with some existing Swim experience. Swim campers will be “tested” on the first day by our Water Safety Instructor to gauge Swim ‘level’ when assigning groups and training lanes. Safety is primary concern as the program takes place in a collegiate pool so campers must be able to pass the test for access to both the shallow end and deep end of the pool. If a camper is not able to pass then they will be switched to a different program and camp office will call home to facilitate this.

The Future Stars Flag Baseball Camp is designed to create an atmosphere that encourages all players, ages 7-9, allowing younger campers to transition into the sport of Swim without contact. Campers are able to develop or continue to expand their Baseball skills such as offensive and defensive practices: footwork, receiving, passing, covering, field awareness and individual work. Campers are able to learn the correct techniques needed to excel on the field in a safe and fun environment. Some drills will be incorporated with our Baseball Camp, although Flag Baseball will be completely non-contact.
