The Future Stars Volleyball Camp (ages 9-18) is designed for girls & boys to develop and improve the necessary skills and concepts of the game to reach their goals.
Volleyball Camp offers the perfect opportunity to fine tune skills leading into the school season. Experienced and passionate coaches will help you master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain ample game play experience.
The curriculum focuses on all facets of the game and offers personal and small group instruction throughout the week to prepare for the school season and high intensity matches.

Director: Haley Blunt
Haley Blunt is the head coach of the girls varsity volleyball team at Ward Melville High School, in addition to serving as an elementary school teacher. Haley has been coaching at her alma mater, Ward Melville High School, for the last 7 seasons and is the director of the travel volleyball organization, UNITED Volleyball. Haley has had much success both playing and coaching volleyball. As a player, Haley was a two-time all-league, all-county and all-division selection, and an all Long-Island selection as well. She set the school record for kills in a season as a senior at Ward Melville, and was named to the 'Elite 8' All-Star team and to the all-tournament team, in addition to placing fifth at Junior Beach Nationals in Chicago as a senior. She played collegiate volleyball at Adelphi University. As a coach, Haley was selected as Suffolk County Coach of the Year by the Suffolk County Volleyball Coaches Association in 2021.
Haley has been a part of sports and recreational camps all her life, working as a counselor for many years and now serves as a director/facilitator for many Long Island volleyball camps and programs. Haley is excited to work with the Future Stars campers and impart her knowledge of and passion for the sport of volleyball and fitness in general.
Suffolk Federal Credit Union Arena - Fieldhouse
Most camp activities take place in and around the Fieldhouse, which is fully air-conditioned throughout the summer. During the summer, you can find our camp office in the foyer of the Suffolk Federal Credit Union Arena, along with the athletic training room/infirmary.

Specialty Camp Features include our inflatable water slides featuring our Big Kahuna Double Lane Waterslide and Double Lane Slip’n’Slide. We also boast two outdoor GaGa Pits, an indoor inflatable GaGa pit, Bag Toss, Kan Jam, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Giant Checkers, multiple Nukem Courts and more!

Your child’s safety is our top priority and getting them home just as they arrived is not only up to our coaches, teachers and instructors, but also our medical staff. Our medical team boasts qualifications and certifications ranging from EMT, RTE, CPR, First Aid and Epi-Pen. Along with the staff listed below, all of our teachers and coaches hold certifications required by their school districts or organizations.
Health Director: Adam Montes – tenure w/ Future Stars – 6 years
Adam has been a certified athletic trainer at Center Moriches High School for 5 years where he evaluates, treats, and rehabilitates student-athletes. Identical to his objective with Future Stars, he strives to maintain the safety and overall well-being of the athletes to ensure participation in their respective sports.
He is also a paraprofessional at Clayton Huey Elementary School where he works 1-1 with a student to ensure they are able to meet their necessary needs academically.
Adam received his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2016 and passed his certification exam the same year. He is also CPR/First Aid/RTE/AED certified.

Who are your staff members?
Our staff comprises coaches, teachers, instructors and collegiate-student athletes who share a passion for working with children and have experience and know-how in their respective fields.
What are the ratios?
Typically, between 8-10:1. Exception is Little Stars (4:1).
What happens during inclement weather?
Camp still runs as planned. If and when inclement weather mandates we go indoors, we have sufficient indoor space for all camps to carry out their traditional programming. We don't do 'movie days' at Future Stars Suffolk.
What happens on really hot days?
Our experienced coaching staff will take mandated and frequent water/shade breaks throughout the day. Additionally, we will schedule additional indoor air-conditioned time and extended pool time to limit exposure to the intense heat.

Can I switch sessions and/or programs?
Yes. You can do this anytime throughout the summer, pending availability. Our office must be notified on the Friday of the prior week so that we can staff accordingly. We cannot make changes after Monday. Please email us with any changes. suffolk@fscamps.com
Can I add sessions during the summer?
Yes. You can add sessions anytime, prior to the week you’re looking to enroll, pending availability. The price will be at our current 1-week rate and will not include any previous discounts, aside from our sibling discount.
Do you have a camp nurse?
We have EMT’s and certified athletic trainers. Please see our “Leadership” section for details.
Are programs Co-Ed?
Most programs are co-ed. Please see our individual program pages for details.
How are campers grouped?
For sport specific programs (soccer, basketball, baseball, etc.), campers are grouped by age and ability. For our popular multi-sport program, campers will be grouped mainly by age/grade.

Future Stars has exclusive use of the College pool during our swim hours.
Campers have a recreational swim every day for about 45 minutes. Little Stars and youngest Multi-Sports campers will also receive instructional swim each day.
Pool safety is taken very seriously, and the pool staff is highly qualified and carry numerous accolades and certifications, including WSI, Lifeguard Management, Lifeguard, First-Aid, and CPR_AED for the Professional Rescuer. We are even a certified lifeguard training site. Our aquatics staff is scond to none.
Every Monday, each new camper is swim tested to determine level and ability, with regular buddy checks taken by our pool staff.
In addition to the pool, we also host our 'Future Stars Water Park' with inflatable water slides for campers to enjoy.
Campers can bring a packed lunch in an insulated bag OR participate in our weekly lunch program.
As part of our comprehensive camp experience, we offer a delicious daily lunch (an additional $75 per week). Menus are planned for variety and taste so our campers can relax and enjoy themselves while preparing for their afternoon activities. Our staff will ensure your camper has the food they enjoy in the comfortable surroundings of the air-conditioned cafeteria.
Aramark is the year-round food service provider for Suffolk County Community College. Their professional staff works full-time and is dedicated to culinary delights and food safety.
We require at least a week's notice to participate in the lunch program.
Special dietary needs can be met, and food allergies are not a problem.

Tuition rates are time sensitive. Enrolling early affords families our best rates.
Summer 2025 programs will run from June 30th to August 22nd. We offer flexible weekly scheduling, and each camp week runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are also available for an additional $70 p/week, p/option (7:30am drop-off & up-to 5:30pm pick-up). Sibling discounts of $25 p/week are added for each sibling after the first child. Team or Group discounts are also available. Please call or email our camp office with any tuition questions. PAYMENT PLANS
We are happy to set up monthly payment plans for families enrolling in 4+ weeks.
Payments will be automatically charged on pre-planned dates for pre-planned amounts, based on your total balance.
Balances can be split into as many as 6 monthly payments or as little as 2 monthly payments, depending on time of enrollment.
Balances must be paid in full by April 1st.

Helpful Enrollment Information: Enrolling early will ensure you receive our best rates. Upon your initial enrollment, it is suggested to enroll for the most weeks you think your child(ren) will be attending, so you can take advantage of our lowest rates of the season.
You are not locked into your schedule at time of enrollment, and you can even reduce the number of enrolled weeks to as little as one by April 1st, without penalty, should other summer plans come about.
