Future Stars Summer Camps has provided families from Long Island, Westchester, Manhattan, and Connecticut with outstanding specialty day camp programs for over 45 years. Our SUNY Old Westbury campus offers a vibrant, safe, and spacious environment where learning, creativity, and fun come together.
Campers enjoy a wooded 600-acre campus, with our camp conveniently located in the Clark Athletic Center complex. Future Stars has exclusive use of the collegiate athletics facilities, including outdoor fields such as the OW Panthers Game Field, practice field, Jackie Robinson Baseball & Softball Complex, basketball courts, racquet sports court, and more. Indoor facilities include multiple gymnasiums, a swimming pool, yoga and dance rooms, plyometric rooms, and the Panther Pride Recreation Area. Additional campus amenities include an air-conditioned cafeteria, recital hall, classrooms, and computer labs.
Our program also features a variety of camp-specific activity areas including an inflatable slip’n’slide, GaGa ball pit, inflatable Panna court, soccer/disc golf, Games Zone, and more. Horseback Riding Camp utilizes the Horseability facilities, which include three outdoor riding arenas, an indoor arena, stables, paddock space, and indoor classrooms.

Horseability Facilities Including Outdoor & Indoor Riding Arenas
Your child will love cooling off and having a blast in the pool. The SUNY Old Westbury Pool is an indoor heated pool, fully staffed with certified lifeguards.
Our aquatics staff is highly qualified and possess numerous certifications including Nassau County DOH Lifeguard, WSI, Lifeguard Management, First-Aid, and CPR/AED for for the Professional Rescuer.
To ensure your child’s safety, all campers will be given a water test, overseen by a water safety instructor. This test is done at the beginning of each session, but campers don't need to take it more than once. Pool rules and procedures are presented weekly to all campers who use the pool.
Locker rooms and changing areas are available for boy and girls, and campers are supervised by our staff throughout to ensure a smooth transition.
We are proud to offer door-to-door transportation to surrounding local zip codes. Future Stars partners with a leading Long Island transportation company to offer the highest level of safety and service for camp families who would like to add the optional bus transportation.
Families who add the transportation option will receive more details and pertinent information from the camp office before and during the summer camp season.

Extend your camp day through 5:30pm for an additional fee of $75/week.
Campers can bring a packed lunch from home or join our weekly lunch program for an additional $75 per week.
Snack is provided for all campers towards the end of the day.
Chartwell is the year-round food service provider for SUNY Old Westbury. Special dietary needs can be addressed and food allergies are not a problem.

David StapletonDavid Stapleton has proudly served as the Camp Director for Future Stars at SUNY Old Westbury since 2009 and brings more than 25 years of experience in summer camps, coaching, and youth sports. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, class of 1999, David combines strong leadership with a deep understanding of child development and athletic programming. As a full-time member of the Future Stars Summer Camps leadership team, he is deeply committed to creating a safe, organized, and enriching environment for campers and families. David takes great pride in building a positive camp culture rooted in fun, growth, and community, and brings a personal perspective to his role as the proud father of a son and daughter.
David O'KeeffeDavid has been a key member of our camp leadership team and Future Stars employee since 2014. He is a certified Physical Education & Health Teacher, and brings both his teaching expertise and athletics administration experience to help enhance our programs.
Zsolt HajduZsolt is our health director, has been the Head Athletic Trainer for the Old Westbury Panthers since 2001. Zsolt brings over 20 years experience in sports medicine and student athlete care.
All Future Stars programs run from 9am to 4pm, with morning drop-off starting at 8:45am and afternoon pick-up beginning at 3:45pm.
We offer two extended day options for campers, providing supervised activities both before and after regular camp hours. Families can enroll in Early Drop-Off at 8am for an additional $50 per week. They can also add Late Pick-Up at 5:30pm for an additional $75 per week.

As part of our all-inclusive and comprehensive camp experience, we offer a delicious and well-balanced daily lunch, a family favorite add-on (an additional $75 per week). Menus are planned for variety, taste, and nutrition so our campers can relax and enjoy themselves while preparing for their afternoon activities.
Our staff will make sure your camper has the food they enjoy in the comfortable surroundings of the air-conditioned cafeteria.
Chartwell is the year-round food service provider for SUNY Old Westbury. Their professional staff works full-time and is dedicated to culinary delights and food safety.

We also provide a snack for all campers towards the end of the day.
Campers will eat lunch daily in the air-conditioned campus center either in the cafeteria or atrium located adjacent to the cafeteria. This is per instructions from Aramark, as each camper on the lunch program is accounted for and free to eat as much as they like while in the cafeteria. Our staff accompanies the campers in both locations and a trainer is on-site during lunch time.
Future Stars Old Westbury partners with a leading transportation company to offer the highest level of safety and service for camp families who would like to add the optional bus transportation.
Door-to-Door Bus Transportation is available for a fixed rate of $250 per week per camper from the following zip-codes:
Transportation must be added NO LATER than ten (10) days prior to the start of a camp session.
Future Stars summer sessions are weekly, so as the enrollment changes week-to-week, the bus routes may/will also change week-to-week. Availability is dependent on your location and enrollment.
All vehicles used for Future Stars summer routes are small, air-conditioned school buses with seat belts available for all passengers.
All drivers are qualified and experienced professionals, exceeding all requirements pursuant to NY State Law and guidelines.

Future Stars Camps operate rain or shine! If rain or thunderstorms occur, SUNY Old Westbury has indoor facilities so campers can continue building their skills and having fun until the weather clears.
In almost every case, there is one staff member for every four to eight campers.

Future Stars ensures a smooth and secure process for arrival and departure. There's a designated morning drop-off window (typically 8:45-9:00 AM) and afternoon pick-up (3:45-4:00 PM), with staff on hand for supervision and assistance. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available for a fee.
For families in eligible areas, door-to-door transportation is offered. Exact bus times are communicated weekly.
Every camper needs daily essentials, such as sunscreen, a healthy snack, lunch, a water bottle, bathing suit and towel, appropriate footwear, and, depending on the weather, rain gear. Find a complete list of what to bring to camp here.
For program-specific equipment, such as cleats for soccer or a glove for softball, an information packet and email will detail exactly what your camper needs. Future Stars has some extra equipment available if items are forgotten.
