Future Stars Esports Camp offers an exciting experience for campers interested in competitive gaming, teamwork, and digital strategy. Designed for beginners and experienced players alike, the camp combines esports competition with lessons in leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Campers play popular titles such as Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, Valorant, and more in our state-of-the-art Esports Arena. Guided practice, daily tournaments, and team challenges mix competition with creativity. Fun themed days like Marvel Day, Team Spirit Day, Jersey Day, and Rivalry Day add extra excitement and community spirit.

The program emphasizes sportsmanship and self-management, teaching campers to handle emotions, respect teammates and opponents, and stay composed under pressure. Recreational games and water park activities round out each day, providing a balanced mix of gaming, learning, and fun.

Future Stars Farmingdale is located at Nold Hall Athletic Center at Farmingdale State College, centrally located on the Nassau-Suffolk border.

The campus is conveniently located on RTE 110, minutes from the LIE (RTE. 495), and set between both the Northern and Southern State Parkways.

Meet the Director

FD_Rudy Chacon

Rodolfo “Rudy” Chacon

Esports Director since 2026

Rudy is the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation at Farmingdale State College, where he manages the Esports Arena and serves as staff advisor for the Esports Club. A former collegiate soccer player, Rudy has continued his passion for competition through esports. He played a key role in helping the Farmingdale Esports program capture its first-ever championship, winning the Fall 2019 FIFA 20 Conference Title. He has also served as an esports manager for professional Fortnite player FaZe Diggy.

Rudy holds a B.S. in Sport Management from Farmingdale State College and an M.S. in Sport Management with a focus on Collegiate Athletic Administration from Adelphi University. He brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the world of esports, inspiring campers to develop skills, teamwork, and confidence while enjoying the excitement of competitive gaming.
