Future Stars Minecraft Camp
These days, the mainstream world has realized the potential of Minecraft and Roblox as tools to inspire a new generation of computer scientists, programmers, and engineers in a world where demand for these fields is growing. As such, Minecraft and Roblox Developers has been designed for campers to: develop an understanding of block coding on both the beginner and intermediate level, gain knowledge on how to design and code games using Roblox Studio, apply real-world concepts such as architecture, engineering, and art through 3D Building w/ Minecraft and Roblox Studio, display their new skills by completing a project of their choice, and learn to work with peers through project-based learning. Ultimately, campers will be able to see the effects of the code they wrote in game, giving them visual feedback to help them learn, all while having fun with the games they love.
*Catered Citarella lunch available for $100/week for all programs except Tiny Stars, Golf and Adventure Camps.

Future Stars Summer Camp is located at 1370A Majors Path, just minutes from Southampton Village. Our facility consists of 10 tennis courts, an outdoor pool & waterslides, 2 indoor basketball courts, 2 soccer fields, an indoor soccer/multi-sport rink, classroom spaces, a turf baseball field, and more.
From June – September, we offer a wide variety of camp programs: Art, Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Little Stars, Multi-Sports, Soccer, Adventure, Tennis, and Tiny Stars.
Sean Johnson:
Sean has been working at FSSH since 2015, where he joined the team as the turf director. He is now the general manager and oversees all year-round activities. Sean graduated with an economics degree and double minor in English and Spanish from Baruch College in New York City. There, he played DIII baseball. He has also been a baseball and basketball coach for 10+ years, with experience working with kids of all ages from NYC and the East End of Long Island.
Pablo Montesi:
Pablo Montesi is the tennis director at Future Stars Southampton. He has worked with Future Stars since he attended Benedictine College in Atchison, KS on an athletic scholarship. Pablo is responsible for coaching, staffing, and programming at the Southampton and Westhampton locations.
Shawn Smith:
Shawn Smith has been our Site Director at the Southampton location since 2018. He's been on the FS team since 2012 in a variety of roles. During the school year, he works as a Physical Education teacher in the local Southampton School District.
Layla DeLuca:
Layla DeLuca has been a staple at Future Stars Summer Camp since 2013 as a Multi-Sport head coach, and now directs our Little Stars & Tiny Stars programs. During the school year, she is a Preschool teacher in Tribeca at Reade Street Prep.
