Over 40 Years of Providing An Unforgettable Summer Camp Experience
With over 40 years of experience, it’s hard to believe where Future Stars is now. What began as a passion for the game of tennis and a keen interest in sharing what a healthy, complex, and uplifting game it can be, has miraculously turned into a highly-satisfying business.
Our first summer camp was a standalone tennis camp at Manhattanville College with no more than a dozen campers. The following year, soccer star Pele ran a hugely successful soccer camp at the same facility with hundreds of kids attending, showing that there was an interest and a need for a soccer camp. When Pele didn't plan on returning, Future Stars took up the mantle and expanded into the world of soccer camps.
As the saying goes: "The rest is history.” We are now operating 30-40 different programs at ten locations throughout New York. What was initially focused on sports camps has blossomed into programs in science, technology, engineering, arts, theater, and more.
We are extremely proud of the grassroots development that we have facilitated and some of the trends we have set. We are blessed with an extremely talented and forward-thinking team that constantly anticipates new markets and methods. Most satisfying are the relationships we have nurtured with campers and staff for over 40 years.
Many thanks to our current partners, landlords, and athletic directors at these outstanding locations: SUNY Purchase, Farmingdale State College, St. Joseph's University, Southampton, Westhampton-Riverhead, and Suffolk County Community College. They have all been instrumental in our growth and longevity.
