Future Stars Flag Football Camp provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment for players to learn and enjoy football without contact. Campers focus on building fundamental skills such as offensive and defensive footwork, passing, receiving, coverage, field awareness, and individual techniques, and develop confidence on the field. Skills are taught in a non-contact setting, giving campers a chance to grow and excel in a safe, encouraging atmosphere.

  • Footwork, Speed & Agility – Enhance quickness, balance, and coordination with exercises designed to boost speed and agility on the field

Directions to the Suffolk Federal Credit Union Arena at Suffolk Community College, Grant Campus:

From the East or West: Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 53 (Sagtikos Parkway/Wicks Road). Follow signs to Wicks Road. Go south 1/2 mile on Wicks Road to campus entrance on right.

Meet the Director

SUF_Kyle Niehr

Kyle Niehr

Flag Football Director

Coach Kyle brings a strong athletic and leadership background to Future Stars. A former football player at Springfield College (2017–2022), he was an All-Conference selection and helped lead his team to two Conference Championships. After graduating, Kyle returned to his alma mater as a coach, contributing to back-to-back NEWMAC Conference Championships in 2022 and 2023. His experience as both a collegiate athlete and coach gives him valuable insight into skill development, teamwork, and competitive mindset.

Currently a substitute teacher in the Brentwood Union Free School District and pursuing a career as a full-time physical education teacher, Coach Kyle is passionate about mentoring young athletes both on and off the field. He also coaches JV football and middle school lacrosse, focusing on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and confidence-building. At camp, Kyle is excited to create a high-energy, supportive environment where every camper can grow, compete, and have fun.
