Extended Day:
Early Drop-Off $80/wk, Late Pick-Up $80/wk
Camp Future Stars Sports Media & Broadcasting Camp gives campers an exciting introduction to the world of sports media. Campers step behind the mic and in front of the camera, with a perfect mix of recording real sports broadcast projects and learning the tricks of the trade. Throughout the week, campers call the action with play-by-play and color commentary, host sports talk radio–style shows and pre-game shows, write and deliver on-camera sportscasts, report from the sidelines, take on athlete interviews and press conferences, and create sports social media content.
Campers develop writing, public speaking, on-camera presence, and teamwork. By the end of the week, every camper leaves with a collection of recorded broadcast projects and the confidence to keep telling sports stories long after camp ends.
Programs take place in collegiate classrooms with all necessary equipment provided. Recreational games and water park activities supplement the daily schedule, giving campers a balanced mix of learning, creativity, and fun.
