Future Stars Adventure Camp offers an exciting week-long program filled with educational explorations for campers ages 6-15.
This revamped program is bringing the best of the local environment to you! From chartered fishing trips with Peconic Water Sports to surfing at OC Surf School to group problem solving activities at our Southampton campus, our campers will be led through a variety of experiential learning activities that emphasize environmental stewardship, team building, social-emotional learning, and more!

Monday: Watersport Adventure with Peconic Water Sports
Tuesday: A day at the Bay Adventures: Swimmings, paddleboarding, beach clean up, sand castle building, fishing, crabbing, etc...
Wednesday: Fishing Charter with Peconic Water Sports
Thursday: Heady Creek Adventure and OC Surf
Friday: Nature Adventure - Morton Wildlife Refuge
*includes group problem solving puzzles, environmental scavenger hunts, team building games/challenges, communication challenges, arts & crafts, relay races, and more!
*In case of a boat cancellation due to inclement weather we'll be going to Morton Wildlife Refuge anf Trout Pond.

OUR DIRECTOR Catherine O'Connor
Catherine O'Connor is a born and raised Southampton local who received an Environmental Studies degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and then went on to get her Masters in Education from Boston College. She's been teaching 4th-8th grade students for 11 years in Boston and Brooklyn. While teaching, she worked diligently to include social-emotional, experiential and discussion based learning practices in her classrooms.
Catherine loves sports, the mountains and the ocean. During her teaching career she spent time outside of the classroom coaching school soccer and basketball teams, organizing surf field trips to the beach for students and traveling to explore the outdoor world in other countries.
She is excited to return to Southampton to share what the East End has to offer with the campers. She’s ready for a fun summer full of adventures!
Future Stars Southampton is located at 1370A Majors Path, just minutes from Southampton Village. Our facility consists of 10 tennis courts, an outdoor pool & waterslides, 2 indoor basketball courts, 2 soccer fields, an indoor soccer/multi-sport rink, classroom spaces, a turf baseball field, and more.
From June – September, we offer a wide variety of camp programs: Art, Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Little Stars, Multi-Sports, Soccer, Adventure, Tennis, and Tiny Stars.
Sean Johnson:
Sean has been working at FSSH since 2015, where he joined the team as the turf director. He is now the general manager and oversees all year-round activities. Sean graduated with an economics degree and double minor in English and Spanish from Baruch College in New York City. There, he played DIII baseball. He has also been a baseball and basketball coach for 10+ years, with experience working with kids of all ages from NYC and the East End of Long Island.
Pablo Montesi:
Pablo Montesi is the tennis director at Future Stars Southampton. He has worked with Future Stars since he attended Benedictine College in Atchison, KS on an athletic scholarship. Pablo is responsible for coaching, staffing, and programming at the Southampton and Westhampton locations.
Shawn Smith:
Shawn Smith has been our Site Director at the Southampton location for 6 years. He's been on the FS team since 2012 in a variety of roles. During the school year, he works as a Physical Education teacher in the local Southampton School District.
Layla DeLuca:
Layla DeLuca has been a staple at Future Stars Summer Camp since 2013 as a Multi-Sport head coach, and now directs our Little Stars & Tiny Stars programs. During the school year, she is a Preschool teacher in Tribeca at Reade Street Prep.
Isaac Tran:
Isaac Tran is Future Stars Southampton's medical director and EMT. He is currently completing his pre-medicine bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland.
