At Future Stars Southampton, S.T.A.R.S. stands for Safety, Teamwork, Attitude, Responsibility, and Sportsmanship. These interconnected values define what it means to be part of the Future Stars family and show campers how one positive choice can strengthen the whole community. By understanding and practicing these values, campers learn the impact they can have on their team, their peers, and the world they live in.
Each day, our professional coaches and educators highlight one value through fun, hands-on activities. Campers discuss why it matters and put it into practice in games, challenges, and outdoor adventures. Whether on the baseball field, in a chess match, or on a paddle board, we help every camper develop the skills and confidence to shine as a Future Star in any community.
Each week is shaped by the weather and the world around us! Our Adventure Camp explores a rotating mix of incredible local destinations and activities, which may include:
Peconic Watersports - water safety, tubing, waterskiing, and swimming
Fishing Charters - hands-on fishing experiences with local guidance
Morton Wildlife - environmental hikes, nature exploration, and wildlife discovery
SUP and Kayaking with P&L Watersports - beach day, water play, and coastal exploration
Trout Pond Hiking and Scavenger Hunt - outdoor exploration, trails, and nature discovery
Throughout the week, campers enjoy group problem-solving puzzles, environmental scavenger hunts, team-building games and challenges, communication challenges, arts & crafts, relay races, and more!
Our schedule is intentionally flexible — exact activities and destinations each week are subject to change based on weather conditions and availability. Each activity is not guaranteed each week. We'll always make sure campers have an amazing day, rain or shine!

With 20 years of experience in youth education, outdoor programming, and camp leadership across the East End, Paola is thrilled to embark on a brand-new adventure this season as the Camp Director for Future Stars Adventure Camp.
Paola brings a deeply rooted understanding of the local community to Future Stars, having raised her two children, Isabella (23) and Dante (19), right here on the East End. Her extensive educational background includes a BA in Communication, an MA in Media Studies, and 20 years of teaching Spanish, music, movement, and early childhood and elementary education—spanning a decade at Southampton Montessori School and ten years at Peconic Community School. Her trusted leadership in local summer programs includes five years managing the summer sailing program at the Shinnecock Yacht Club, alongside years of teaching as a specialist at the Quogue Field Club, Southampton Tennis and Bath Club, LaRonde Beach Club and Music Together by the Dunes. Fully CPR-certified, she ensures that emotional and physical safety always comes first.
While Paola is an avid adventure enthusiast, her deepest mission in taking children outdoors is to facilitate a true connection with the natural world. She believes that nature adventures provide the perfect canvas for children to discover joy and a sense of wonder. Through these experiences, she guides campers to recognize that we are not separate from nature, but an interconnected part of it—and that we need a thriving Earth to survive and thrive ourselves. Rather than viewing nature as a commodity, her programs foster gratitude, reciprocity, and a lifelong commitment to stewardship. Paola cannot wait to welcome your children to Future Stars, where they will explore, play, and discover the magic and gifts of the not so ordinary world together.
