WHERE CURIOSITY MEETS CREATIVITY

Future Stars Core STEAM Camp invites campers to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a collaborative, hands-on Makerspace environment. Each week, campers dive into a variety of STEAM subjects, discovering new interests and building on skills they’ve already learned. Returning campers can advance their abilities and combine disciplines in creative ways. For example, campers who explore Stop Motion Animation and 3-D Design and Printing can use their skills to design and print custom props for their movies!

Designed in partnership with the experts at MakeInspires, this STEAM Camp fosters curiosity, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Campers inspire one another, tackle exciting challenges, and leave with real projects they can be proud of.

Core STEAM Camp subjects include:

3D Design & Printing with TinkerCAD – Design custom objects and print your creations to take home

Circuit Adventures – Build and experiment with circuits, lights, and simple robots to understand electronics in action

Creating Video Games with Scratch & MakeCode – Learn coding basics while unleashing creativity and solving fun design challenges

Design & Engineering – Investigate real-world engineering, build models, test structures, and solve design problems

Robotics Adventures – Program and operate robots using sensors and coding to complete fun challenges

Minecraft Architecture & Coding – Explore building styles, design challenges, and coding logic in a virtual world

Science Rocks – Conduct hands-on experiments to learn chemistry, physics, and scientific problem-solving

Stop Motion & Filmmaking – Create animated movies and live-action shorts while learning storytelling, teamwork, and production techniques

Character Education at Future Stars

S.T.A.R.S. stands for Safety, Teamwork, Attitude, Responsibility, and Sportsmanship. These interconnected values define what it means to be part of the Future Stars family and show campers how one positive choice can strengthen the whole community. By understanding and practicing these values, campers learn the impact they can have on their team, their peers, and the world they live in.

Each day, our professional coaches and educators highlight one value through fun, hands-on activities. Campers discuss why it matters and put it into practice in games, challenges, and outdoor adventures. Whether on the baseball field, in a chess match, or on a paddle board, we help every camper develop the skills and confidence to shine as a Future Star in any community.
