ELEVATE YOUR GAME ON AND OFF THE COURT

Future Stars Basketball Camp teaches campers to become well-rounded, team-oriented players. Campers receive specialized instruction focusing on dribbling, ball handling, passing, shooting, and rebounding.
Experienced high school and college coaches guide campers through small-group instruction, close supervision, and quality gameplay, and emphasize sportsmanship and teamwork. Campers are grouped by age and ability.

Campers enjoy a well-rounded experience with a balanced day of skills training, friendly competitions, and engaging activities, ensuring they have the perfect combination of learning and fun!

  • Free Throws – Develop a steady free-throw routine to stay calm, focused, and reliable at the line
  • Ball Handling – Strengthen overall control with drills that boost quick reactions and smooth movement with the ball

Easy Transportation for Old Westbury

We are proud to offer door-to-door transportation to surrounding local zip codes. Future Stars partners with a leading Long Island transportation company to offer the highest level of safety and service for camp families who would like to add the optional bus transportation. .

Typical pick-up and drop-off times vary depending on your spot on the route. We will call the week before camp with your bus times, as the times change weekly.

9:30 am: Skill Acquisition

10:30 am: Instructional Stations

11:15 am: 'STARS' Competitions

12:00 pm: Lunch

1:00 pm: Rec Swim or Recess

2:00 pm: Situational Play

3:00 pm: League Play

4:00 pm: Departure

Joe McDonald

Basketball Director

Coach Joe returns to Future Stars this summer with his energy, expertise, and a true passion for the game. A certified teacher and former Division I student-athlete, Coach McDonald combines high-level basketball experience with a strong educational background to create a program that is both instructional and engaging. He actively coaches basketball year-round and is dedicated to helping campers develop fundamental skills, confidence, and a love for the sport in a positive, supportive environment. His leadership, knowledge of the game, and ability to connect with young athletes make him an outstanding mentor and director for our basketball campers.
