WHERE CURIOSITY MEETS CREATIVITY

Future Stars STEAM Exploration Camp invites campers to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a collaborative, hands-on makerspace environment. Each week, campers dive into a variety of STEAM subjects, discovering new interests and building on skills they’ve already learned.

Every week of Future Stars STEAM Exploration Camp is unique, and features new projects and activities. There are always new competitions and cooperative challenges that we have carefully balanced for all skill levels. Returning campers can advance their abilities and combine disciplines in creative ways. 

STEAM Exploration Camp subjects include 3D printing, 3D sculpting, coding concepts, web design, Minecraft education, Roblox Studio, video game design, and more. Campers will explore an assortment of fun and educational gadgets to use throughout the week, including Sphero, Botley, coding drones, 3D printers, Kano Computer Kits, and more.

STEAM Exploration: Ages 8-11 

A foundational STEAM experience designed to introduce younger campers to technology, engineering, coding, and creative problem-solving through hands-on projects and collaborative challenges.

Advanced STEAM Exploration: Ages 11-14

An enhanced STEAM experience for older campers featuring more advanced concepts, greater project complexity, and opportunities to deepen technical skills through independent and team-based exploration.

 

Every camper who brings a flash drive will also receive a copy of the professional 3D Design software to use at home so they can continue building on their skills all year long (compatible with both Mac and Windows).

Easy Transportation for Old Westbury

We are proud to offer door-to-door transportation to surrounding local zip codes. Future Stars partners with a leading Long Island transportation company to offer the highest level of safety and service for camp families who would like to add the optional bus transportation. .

Typical pick-up and drop-off times vary depending on your spot on the route. We will call the week before camp with your bus times, as the times change weekly.

9:00 am: Orientation

9:15 am: STEAM (Skill Acquisition)

10:15 am: STEAM (Program Based)

11:15 am: Immerse & Innovate

12:15 pm: Lunch

1:15 pm: Recreational Swim and/or Games

2:15 pm: STEAM (Design Time) & Cooperative Games

4:00 pm: Departure
