LEGO Stop Motion Animation at Future Stars Old Westbury is part of our comprehensive STEAM Education camp experience. - Summer 2024 Dates = July 8-12.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)
Technology helps us communicate, Math is the language, Science and Engineering are the process for thinking, and Art helps us merge form with function. All of these can lead to innovation.
An exciting weekly session developed for upper elementary and middle school aged Boys & Girls, this program follows a project based curriculum.
Campers will get creative and make their LEGO adventure come to life, using HUE Animation Studio which includes the software and camera needed to make a stop motion animation movie. Campers will create storyboards, build characters, and develop backdrops as they work through the creative process.
Teachers will help guide campers, from adding music and special effects to any final edits, before they are ready to share their movies with the world!
Utilizing the state-of-the-art facilities on campus, campers will learn in collegiate classrooms and/or computer labs with all necessary equipment provided.
A typical daily schedule is available on our STEAM Education Camps page , with campers supplementing their curriculum work with the recreational swim, water slides, and recreational activity options.
