FUTURE STARS SYOSSET – SUMMER 2024 SITE ANNOUNCEMENT (JANUARY, 2024)
We regret to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Future Stars Summer Camps will not be able to operate as planned for the Summer 2024 Camp Season at the Syosset at OLMA site.
As you may or may not be aware, Our Lady of Mercy Academy recently announced that the school will be closing at the end of the academic year (June, 2024). After discussing with the school administration at OLMA, it has become clear that there are many uncertainties regarding the school and campus plans beyond the current academic year. Therefore, Future Stars Summer Camps has made the difficult decision not to operate on campus this upcoming season.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone at Our Lady of Mercy Academy and the Sisters of Mercy for welcoming us on campus starting back in 2021. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to run our programs on the beautiful campus and create lasting memories for campers and staff.
To all the families who have considered Future Stars Syosset their home in previous seasons, we want to assure you that this is not a final farewell, but rather a temporary goodbye.
Future Stars Summer Camps will be operating at multiple sites throughout the summer, including on the nearby SUNY Old Westbury campus.
Many of the staff who worked at Future Stars Syosset will be joining us at Future Stars Old Westbury, and we sincerely hope that you can join us for another unforgettable summer camp experience, albeit at a different location.
