Future Stars is happy to introduce Drama as one of our specialty summer camp programs. Summer 2012 at SUNY Old Westbury will offer three sessions. Note, each session is a
two-week program as the campers perform an end of session show.

Drama camps are two-week programs that campers a unique insight into the world of Drama and Theatre. The confident, articulate child finds it easier to make friends, accept new challenges and explore new directions. Future Stars Drama program for boys and girls ages 7-16 is designed to help each child achieve these invaluable life skills. Campers will look at various performance skills as well as other aspects behind the scenes as they prepare for the end of session Drama show directed by our accomplished staff.
In a fun-filled atmosphere, Drama camp will cover acting, speech, singing, improv, role-playing, scene study, dramatic movement, snippets, scene starters, comedy, stage craft, dancing, choreography, costumes, music, lighting, rehearsals and more!
SUNY College at Old Westbury is a wooded 604 acre campus centrally located on Long Island's picturesque
North Shore.
Clark Athletic Center outdoor facilities include FULL ACCESS to Jackie Robinson Baseball & Softball complex, 8 all weather Tennis courts, 6 hitting walls, 4 full-sized training fields, 4 Basketball courts, outdoor Volleyball courts, mini-tennis
grass courts, and more!
Clark Athletic Center indoor facilities include FULL ACCESS to Olympic sized heated pool, 3 full gymnasiums, 4 racquetball courts, Panther Pride video and recreation area, weight room, cardio gym, games room, newly renovated locker rooms, athletic training room, and more!
Campus Center facilities include air conditioned cafeteria, Maguire Theater, Recital Hall, classrooms, and more!
Additional Future Stars camp specials include The Big Kahuna Inflatable Waterslide, The Future Stars Soccer Golf Course, GaGa Ball Pit and The Quad Soccer Inflatable Sports Arena!!!
Door to door transportation is available throughout Nassau County and beyond by arrangement.
Jonathan Gellert is very excited to be returning to Future Stars for summer 2012! He is currently the Director of Theater Arts at Great Neck North High School in Great Neck NY. Before spending his summers at Future Stars, Jonathan spent 20 summers as Theater Director at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, a sleep away camp in upstate NY. He has an MFA in Theater Directing from UCLA, an MA in Theater Education and a BFA in Acting/Directing. He has worked as a professional actor and director with many professional credits both in NY and around the country.
