Future Stars Softball Camp is designed to teach and inspire girls to become better, more confident, complete players. With the perfect balance of skill building, sportsmanship, competition, and fun, all campers will enjoy a memorable summer experience.

Experienced high school, collegiate, and specialty coaches will work tirelessly to improve everyone’s play. Players will work individually and as teams to improve their offense, defense, hitting, fielding, base running and tactical skills.

  • Batting tunnels for focused hitting instruction

Building Skills That Last Beyond Softball Camp

  • Hitting – Learn proper stance, swing mechanics, and contact fundamentals to drive the ball with power and consistency
  • Fielding – Develop fast feet, clean glove work, and confident decision-making on every play
  • Throwing – Improve arm strength, accuracy, and safe throwing technique for all positions
  • Pitching – Master key pitching mechanics, control, and pitch development with focused, position-specific coaching
  • Catching – Build strong receiving, blocking, and throw-down skills behind the plate
  • Soft Toss – Reinforce hitting fundamentals through high-rep soft toss drills that sharpen timing and mechanics
  • Positional Play – Learn the responsibilities, reads, and skills needed to excel at your primary position
  • Base Running – Boost speed, technique, and smart running decisions to maximize every opportunity on the bases
  • Situational Play – Practice real-game scenarios to elevate awareness, communication, and strategic execution

Directions to Future Stars Farmingdale

Future Stars Farmingdale is located at Farmingdale State College, centrally located on the Nassau-Suffolk border.

The campus is conveniently located on Route 110, minutes from the LIE (Route. 495), and set between both the Northern and Southern State Parkways, directly across from Adventureland.

Our seasonal summer office is located in the Nold Hall Athletic Center.

Meet the Director

FD_Lisa Jusino

Lisa Jusino

Softball Director since 2025

Coach Lisa brings a wealth of experience as both a coach and educator. Prior to this role, she served for more than six years as our director at St. Joseph’s University, where she is also the Head Softball Coach. Lisa works closely with athletes through private instruction, and has coached a wide range of youth teams, helping players grow in skill, confidence, and love for the game.

As a player, Lisa competed at Adelphi University, where she was named an NFCA Academic All-American and a First Team All-ECC selection. In recognition of her achievements on and off the field, she was inducted into the Adelphi Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. Lisa is passionate about player development and is committed to creating a positive, supportive environment that helps athletes reach their full potential.
