Summer Camp for Toddlers

Future Stars Tiny Stars Camp is designed to meet the diverse needs of our 2-year-old campers in a low camper to counselor setting (3:1). Tiny Stars focuses on skills that promote and build age-crucial fine and gross motor skills and spatial awareness. We also work on age-appropriate social and behavior skills.

By creating a safe, structured, warm, and energetic environment, campers are encouraged to try new things and build upon their already learned abilities and skills. Our teachers incorporate music and movement activities, motor activities, and play time into your child's day.

We also concentrate on the fundamentals of various sports and activities (including dribbling, balancing, shooting, and encouraging children to use their feet). Your child will have lots of fun while learning new skills every day!

Hello Tiny Star Families! My name is Layla DeLuca. I have been with Future Stars Summer Camp since 2013, beginning as the Multi-Sport Head Coach of the Huskies/Bulldogs! I am now looking forward to another year as the Director of the Tiny Stars program. I am a certified Early Childhood Education and Special Education teacher and hold a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education, from SUNY Buffalo State College.

While in Buffalo, I worked as a Kindergarten Special Education teacher. Since moving to New York City, I have had the opportunity to teach children on Broadway, work in the DOE, and tutor countless families...including friends from Future Stars! During the school year, I am a Preschool teacher in Tribeca. No matter where I am, I always find my way back to Future Stars.

As Tiny Stars Director, I am confident that the happiness, growth, and smiles I have seen throughout my time here will extend throughout the program. I can’t wait to watch your Tiny Stars turn into the superstars they are!

Future Stars NYC is held at The Dalton School's First Program building, located at 53-63 E 91st Street in Manhattan. The facility is comprised of adjoining townhouses, complete with welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces catered to the needs of children in grades K-3.

Our campers will have access to several classrooms, a rooftop playground, and indoor & outdoor recreational spaces, creating a perfect environment for an enriching and exciting summer of fun!

Safety is first for a reason. Ingrained in everything we do, safety paves the way for our campers to thrive in a healthy environment.
Teamwork challenges our campers to collaborate thoughtfully and teaches us that, “we are not on a team because we work together, we are on a team because we respect, trust, and care for one another.”
Attitude is everything, our coaches discuss both the good and the bad of attitudes; guiding campers to consider the power of an open and growth-oriented mind.
Responsibility fosters a supportive and thriving community, which takes effort from every single member. We encourage every camper to take ownership of their actions, just as they do their belongings.
Sportsmanship is more than just a handshake at the end of a game. We encourage our campers to honor differences and celebrate similarities of everyone in our community, all the while playing hard and playing fair.
What does it mean to be a Future Star?

Our S.T.A.R.S. acronym tells our campers and parents of what it means to be a part of the Future Stars NYC family. We aim to help our campers understand the value and interconnectedness of Safety, Teamwork, Attitude, Responsibility, and Sportsmanship. Through fun and engaging activities each day of every camp week, our staff of professional coaches/educators emphasizes one of these values, discussing its importance and encouraging campers to recognize the power they hold to contribute positively to a community or a team. Whether on the baseball field, in a chess match, or on a paddle board, we strive to equip every camper with the tools to be a Future Star for any community they may be a part of!
