Future Stars Soccer camp program creates an atmosphere that encourages and develops players to reach their full potential. Throughout the week campers – of all levels – will cover all facets of the game including technical, tactical, physical, and psychological concepts.
Experienced coaches and college players lead instructions in Dribbling & Ball Mastery, Game Understanding, Skills Challenges, Scrimmages, World Cup Game and more! The training methods will aim to foster the player's love for the game using a progressive curriculum building from individual skills through small-sided challenges and ending in match play.
At Future Stars Soccer camps, campers will learn valuable skills ranging from beginner to advanced tactics. Some of these include:
- Agility drills
- Technical skills
- Physical development skills
- Functional training
Soccer-related skills aside, Future Stars Soccer camps give children the opportunity to form meaningful connections with other like-minded individuals. These relationships can last a lifetime and help deliver an unforgettable Soccer camp experience for children in the New York area!
Future Stars Soccer Camp Locations
Future Stars Soccer camp is offered at several different locations throughout New York. While the curriculum is largely the same as other locations, here are our soccer camp locations, along with some pertinent information about each one.
SUNY Purchase College
Future Stars Soccer camp at SUNY Purchase College is directed by Anna Edwards, a former student assistant, and player at UMass-Amherst. Anna also played a year in Spain with Zaragoza, reaching the finals of La Copa de la Reina. She has been the director of soccer for the past two years.
Soccer camp at SUNY Purchase College is offered for nine weekly sessions from June 20th until August 19th.
Ages: 6-16
Syosset at OLMA
Our Syosset soccer camp is directed and overseen by Dave O’Keeffe. A phys ed teacher and athletic director during the year, Dave has directed a number of programs for several years. He is also a year-round coach with Long Island SC.
Future Stars Soccer camp at Syosset is offered for three weekly session started July 5th and ending July 22th.
Ages: Grades 3-9
Farmingdale State College
Future Stars Soccer camp at Farmingdale has the pleasure of being directed by Dusan Gargurevich. Growing up in Ecuador, Dusan played locally for LIU Post and was a key player for a team winning a regional championship and even qualifying for the NCAA Tournament every year.
Soccer camp at Farmingdale is offered for eight weekly sessions starting June 28th and ending August 20th.
Ages: Grades 3-9 (co-ed)
St. Joseph’s University
Future Stars Soccer camp at St. Joseph’s University is directed by Christopher Arnold. With 8+ years of coaching and an additional 20 years in the sport, Chris is an ideal candidate for directing our soccer program and teaching both newcomers and experienced campers the game of soccer.
Our soccer camp at St. Joseph’s University is offered for five weekly sessions beginning June 27th until July 1st, again from July 11th until July 22nd, and lastly from August 1st until August 12th.
Ages: 6-14
Southampton
Future Stars Southampton Soccer camp’s director is Neil D’Acierno. A five-year veteran at Future Stars, He is a multi-sport athlete, also directing our basketball camp in Southampton. Neil was formerly an athlete at Unity College and also brings a wealth of experience in directing sports camps.
Soccer camp at Southampton is offered from July 11th until August 19th.
